Curl by T. O. Bobe

5.0

I’d probably call this microfiction, but nevertheless, Curl is one of my favorite books. Short, odd, and written in a meld of verse and narrative, Curl tells, in fragments, the story of Romania’s most magical barber running a clandestine (sometimes) barbershop. With lyrical prose and drenched in magical realism, I fell in love with this book FAST. This book feels like home.

Plus, Sean Cotter is an incredible translator.
