"You're radically collaborative, profoundly empathetic, and deeply communal. Everyone who tells you anything different is selling the fear that is the only thing that can break that nature."
I initially struggled to get into this book. Likely because I had forgotten what happened in the first one and stubbornly refused to read a summary. However, after acting as a detective for the first 50 ish pages I really got into in. The pacing gradually increased and truly left me gripped and crying by the end.
Hank Green always manages to not shy away from the challenging reality of everything and the problems facing us (many of our own creation), while also leaving me feeling hopeful in the goodness of people.
