Norwegian Wood by Haruki Murakami

3.0

I struggled to get through the first half but started to appreciate it more in the second. This is the third Murakami book I've read and I'm still fascinated by the blunt and direct way he writes and his characters that always seem slightly off-kilter. This felt a lot simpler and more straight-forward than a lot of his other books, beautiful but definitely melancholy.
