3.0
A deeply depressing read (it’s Ellis after all) that meanders for 150 pages and then stuffs the last pages with sociopathic scenarios and on-the-nose parallel scenes. Blair sums it up neatly at the end of the book: It’s hard to feel sorry for someone who doesn’t care.
Graphic: Drug abuse
Moderate: Sexual violence
Minor: Eating disorder
