The reason I found this book was because of someone on tiktok saying that people didn’t like the main character but that doesn’t make it a bad book. And they are correct despite the fact the main characters actions are not always great ones, I’m still left rooting for Lucas and Jeramy, which is hard when they compete against each other. But I think that only adds to how great this book is for representation, not everyone in the LGBTQIA+ is an angel and this books could humanise this morally messy main character to those who don’t interact with many people in the community. No, no character is perfect but that’s what I like most about it.

The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because it did give me dysphoria and I feel that anyone who suffers from that should be aware of that when reading this book.
