The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

4.0

This book started out as a cancer story, then turned into an adventure story, and then returned to a cancer story. It was written from the perspective of a teenager, as if she were talking, so it sounded very teenager-y, but Hazel was articulate enough that it wasn't annoying. It felt a little bit like the Gillmore Girls, but that didn't bother me.
