A Single Light: A Novel by Tosca Lee

5.0

This was a brilliant sequel to The Line Between. I loved the first book with the back and forth between Winter's life growing up in a doomsday cult and her escape and flight as she traveled with the potential key to stop a pandemic. A Single Light was even more nail-biting. As she described a world that had fallen apart, it creeped me out. I remember being in a corn maze while listening to it, and wondering if the animals around could make me sick. It seriously stuck with me.

It's a different structure than the first book, since it's not going back and forth, but the continuing story is engrossing. I loved the narration as well - Tosca's books lend themselves to listening. I would recommend this to any fans of end of the world or medical thrillers. There is some gory content, but it is not explicit. Too bad the series is over.
