A girl spends the week at her grandparents' lake house and scary things begin to happen.
I know this is a spooky book meant for kids, but it was repititive, boring and not scary at all. I did appreciate the history behind why African Americans haven't always learned how to swim due to being denied usage of pools or not having ones nearby. This reminded me of the book Swim Team, which also explains this issue. The author had a great message of facing your fears, but the book is all over the place and very anticlimactic.
