I feel very conflicted over this volume.

In one hand there are plenty that I really enjoyed, hence the rating, but in the other hand I simply cannot move past the
sexual assault/dubious consent
scene because I believe it to be uncalled for and unnecessary and the progression of the relationship could have happened without it, and also because of how fast it was brushed past it. There's so many wrong things with the development of Akihiko and Haruki's relationship (including said scene) and I find myself wondering if I'm the only one that is bothered by this, if we go by how much they are loved by seemingly most readers, but I digress.

On the positives, I will say that I love Ugetsu as a character and his complexity is what makes him the most interesting to me, along with Mafuyu, so I really enjoy the chapters that are heavy on his presence and he is definitely one of the best points of this volume.
