Sweet Spot by Rebecca Jenshak

4.0

Last book of June folks.
Closing out with an easy to read, college, age gap, HEA. Rebecca always pumps out bangers, and I needed to end June on a high note. This book did not disappoint.

I love an age gap romance! This older golf coach / younger client relationship was done really well. Keira gravitated towards Lincoln because the coach of the schools team is a douche canoe and has some kind of issue with her. We don't know what the issue is, but oh well.

Lincoln is a retired Pro Golfer due to an injury, and now he teaches. He helps those who aspire to win with their technique. He's quite successful & he saw drive & hunger in Keira. He took her on as a client and truly helped her improve.

This story is genuine and so sweet. The romance wasn't instant. It wasn't predatory (like some age gap can be) it was a slow evolution. The chemistry built and just kind of exploded.

I hated Coach Potter. I wish we got to see him get fired or publicly humiliated. Something.

I loved Grams / Milly. She was such a strong presence in this story. She is supportive and caring, not just to Linc but also to Keira. I loved how she put K first after her heat stroke. SPEAKING of that scene, when Linc runs thru the E.R. in search of our girl.... Swoon. How he carries her away from Potter upon release. Swoon.
The fact that he didn't deck Coach Potter. Fine. I'll swoon a little because it shows maturity and restraint, but I wanted him to go hog wild.

Thanks, Rebecca, for rounding out my June
