Layover in Dubai by Dan Fesperman

3.0

Great airport novel with a fast pace and likable characters. Fesperman has also clearly been to Dubai and seems invested in the human rights issues there. Picked it up because of the title, but I may keep working on it because he deals with the paradox of human trafficking, sex workers, labor camps, in the face of Emirati economic growth and Islamic conservativism.
