I knew what to expect going into this book but it still broke my heart. I feel like the author managed the POV of a 21/22 year old incredibly well and throughout the book she seems to get wiser in a short period of time.

The character Gemma reminded me of my best friend so much which really pulled me in more and put me in the shoes of Jess. I loved how the dynamic of that relationship was portrayed.
