Secrets at Malory Towers by Pamela Cox

4.0

I thought that Alice's secret and character reveal at the end felt a bit obvious but I enjoyed it anyway. Alice's secret shows that it is possible for a person to change themselves completely and reinvent themselves in a new light. Her redemption arc was very satisfying to read and I liked that the girls have grown up more by giving her a chance instead of accusing her immediately. We are also introduced to several new first formers who create a lot of mischief. I think that the addition of these girls is somewhat necessary to maintain the excitement because the old girls at Malory Towers are no longer as carefree and mischievous as they used to be.
