I have a bad habit of starting multiple books at once, but this one instantly grabbed my attention. I loved the history in the book, and thought the story was perfectly well paced. The characters are well developed and I feel that the author actually wrote some of them so that you can't really make up your mind about them. Their stories are very fluid and you kind of go back and forth with your feeling for them.

My only (small eye rolling) issue was the dramatic fighting between two of the characters over Nahri, but that's just me.
