The Remains of The Buddha by Ratnadip Acharya, Ratnadip Acharya
4.0
I absolutely love the cover photo of this book. It looks so beautiful and peaceful. I will be honest that before I started reading the book I thought that it was some kind of a spiritual book but as I started reading more I found it to be a very interesting story.
This book takes the reader on a fascinating journey through time, unraveling secrets and mysteries along the way. The author skillfully connects the historical and the contemporary, crafting a smooth and compelling story that draws the reader in. The characters are realistic and complex, struggling with their personal issues and choices, which make them more sympathetic and relatable. The book also showcases the author's extensive knowledge and research, giving it a credible and informative edge.
I really enjoyed reading the 'Thus Spoke Siddhartha' parts. Ratnadip Acharya has brought so much life into this area of the book that I could almost visualise Buddha in front of me and everything he did so many years ago. I just couldn't stop reading them. I also loved the characters of Saikat and Shuvasini. I enjoyed reading the whole quest though I was sad with the way Edward's character died. I felt really sad for him.
I will definitely recommend this book to all the mystery lovers. Get your copy today and don't miss this masterpiece. I really enjoyed reading it and trust me you will not get bored at all.
