The Unforgettable Logan Foster by Shawn Peters is a middle grade novel that is full of superhero fun! In it, Logan is an orphaned boy with a photographic memory who can't seem to land a family. Foster parents have come and gone, until Margie and Gil take him in. But, Margie and Gil are not your regular ol' foster parents.... There is something super heroic about them.
I listened to this one on audio and I recommend readingit instead. I didn't love the voice in audio, and the physical copy contains the occasional cute, well-drawn black and white picture.
This is a fun book, perfect for the reader looking for fast-paced excitement. And I liked that it clearly ended by indicating that a series is in the works so, for those interested, they can get more Logan Foster fixes.
*Interesting side note: I have read two books in a row now that have a main character named Gil.
