I definitely expected something darker and ended up being just slightly disappointed because of that. But then again I guess this book is dark for people who haven't struggled with mental illness and suicidal thoughts. For me it was just relatable
Graphic: Mental illness, Suicidal thoughts, Blood, and Suicide attempt
Moderate: Racism, Forced institutionalization, Xenophobia, Vomit, Medical content, Alcohol, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Self harm, Sexual content, Suicide, Antisemitism, Death of parent, and Lesbophobia
Attempted rape, mildly detailed labour, shock therapy
