The Marsh Queen by Virginia Hartman

3.0

Enjoyable. Part mystery, part thriller, part family drama, part romance. Fans of birds and/or gardening may find extra enjoyment as there are several descriptive passages devoted to those subjects. The heroine is quite likable. Several glaring incidents of chance meetings and fortuitous observations....but it IS a small town, so within the realm of possibility I suppose. If certain people had the courage to come forward 25 years ago, this would never have become a "cold case" !
