Alice in Borderland, Vol. 2 by Haro Aso

1.0

Truthfully, it’s been a while since I’ve felt this let down by a book.
I really liked where volume 1 left off and was hoping it would continue down that same path.
But the art felt sloppy in particular with this volume and the plot lines fell completely flat.
Everything felt predictable and without merit. Some actions taken by the characters don’t seem to fit what we already knew about them, and I kept expecting other things to happen- and they just did not.
I think there was a lot of potential in this volume, however it was not utilised and just felt like we were playing a game of ‘tick the boxes’: death game edition.
