Harvest of Love by M. Moreland, Melanie Moreland

5.0

No matter what name she writes under - M Moreland, Melanie Moreland - this author always gives me a storyline that feels real, and this insta-spark romance hit me right in the feels. So much so that I had to take a couple of days - part of that thinking about what this story meant to me and part of it deciding the direction I wanted this review to take - or more accurately, how much of myself I wanted to give away. With that in mind, I'll start with what Dani and Noah's story meant to me. There is an important message about stress and anxiety, but for me, Harvest of Love was about that spark between two people, about finding your person when you least expect it. Not instalove, but I do believe in the insta spark like the one between Dani and Noah. I believe in it because I experienced it with my husband. We met at a time when I didn't expect it but definitely needed it. And my "Noah" was that calming force from the minute we met. So, when I say this story felt real, I mean that in every sense of the word. I absolutely loved Dani and Noah, and the almost magnetic pull between them was just what I needed and allowed me to relive some much-needed happy memories. Even the fun teasing and joking between them was spot on. So, I found a few chuckles along the way, I swooned over Noah's strength and support of Dani, allowing her to be who and what she needed while making sure she knew his steadying arms were right there, and I even shed a few tears as Dani learns what's important - tears that were also a little healing for me. Harvest of Love is a relatively quick read, but it's safe to say that it absolutely blew me away. It was an emotional read for me, but this is a couple I'll revisit often. It also doesn't hurt that Melanie Moreland writes the best epilogues ever - but don't skip ahead, part of the reason they're so great is the journey to get there.
