When I finished reading KOP my brain couldn't comprehend the rollercoaster of emotions my heart felt while reading it πŸ˜πŸ’“πŸ’“.

I devoured it.
I devoured it like a man starved.

The searing tension in the first one-third of the book threatened to burn through the page. Kai is SO different from other mmcs Ana has written. He's concerned about his morals, is always so uptight and in control. The way he thinks, the words he uses are all so dignified and scholarly. Only Isabella is able to unleash his craziest, darkest feral instincts.

Wait till you find out why there is a feather on the cover. Let's just say Kai can get really freaky on the floor of a library πŸ‘€.

I literally screamed at 1 AM when a certain twisted couple made a cameo. Please keep them coming πŸ™.

I loved all the 'Pride and Prejudice' references and parallels. The Mr. Darcy-inspired hand flex, the raunchy library scene (read to find out), the fact that this book literally has the name 'Pride' in it, and how both Mr. Darcy and Kai have that British aristocratic attitude.

This is definitely one of Ana Huang's best works ever. I know everyone's talking about Kai and Isabella, but no one's talking about Ana! The way her writing has evolved is phenomenal. If I compare this to 'Twisted Love', there is so much more finesse and refinement, and I love it 🫢🏻.

What Kai did for Isa and the epilogue... ooof πŸ€ŒπŸ»πŸ™ŒπŸ™Œ. Too sweet πŸ₯ΉπŸ’œ.

I can already see the prospective couples for the next books in the series and I'm especially excited for 'King of Greed' because it's gonna have a trope Ana has never done before, I already love the fmc and I want to read it SO BAD!
