This book had me hooked from go. I don't know what it is about Regency era stories that just does it for me! This story was equally heartbreaking and heartwarming. The love story between our main characters was perfection. I cannot find any fault in the romance at all. The representation of our trans character and the PTSD rep in this book are startlingly well written. I loved this book. Plain and simple. I devoured it like the most decadent dessert.
