Tori Romano is counting down the days until she turns 25 to get her trust and flee from her abusive step-brother.  He has been nothing but cruel since their parents death and she knows if she stays, he will kill her.   Tori knows he is part of the Cosa Nostra mafia, he certainly touts his clout.  She has no idea that he is being watched and when the head of Cosa Nostra sees her he starts making plans.

Angelo Rizzo has been pressured to get married for awhile by his uncle. That being said he has no interest in an arranged marriage with the woman they keep trying to push him toward.  Angelo sees Tori and her innocence radiates along with her beauty.  Her brother is in debt with him and he comes up with a plan to clear the debt by marrying Tori.   He knows this is not what Tori wants but he vows he will be a loyal husband and perhaps the love of her life.

Page turning suspense.  I really enjoyed this one.  Tori is a bit too accepting of the marriage I think initially but she is so devout with her religion that I think she feels this is the right thing to do.  Great chemistry between Tori and Angelo.  Very entertaining.
