My sole critique of this novel is that the switch in perspectives was a bit jarring after such a long time spent in one character's head, but even with that caveat so much else about this book is so well done that it deserves five stars. This is excellently crafted. The last half of the book is so tense and Jones does an excellent job regulating that tension. His characters feel very real and layered.
