Perfect winter read. Loved the cold feeling it gives. The story is so mysterious and magical. The combination of silver and gold in the story adds to the cold magical feel. Very lovable characters.

I believe that the plot itself could have been anything as long as the atmosphere and the characters remained the same which mainly make the book.

The change of perspectives felt abrupt at times (I listened on audiobooks which could explain it).
