A Family Affair by Robyn Carr

4.0

A Family Affair by Robyn Carr is about a family with a lot of dysfunction, but also a lot of love. Anna McNichol had been married to her husband, Chad, for many years when he suddenly died on a rafting trip. Anna, who is at the height of her career, finds herself in a precarious situation when a young, pregnant woman shows up at the funeral and then things get stranger when Chad's will is read. I found this book to be engaging from the get-go and it did not let up. I also liked the settings of Marin and Sonoma Counties, it's always fun to read books set where you are very familiar.
