This is two stories in one. The first whirlwind friends to lovers slow burn taking place 10 years before the second. The second part is also slow burn but more of a second chance romance. Plot takes point in this book over the steam so it's only about a 3 on the spicy scale.
This story leaves me very much confused and just bored at the end. I was bored because there is BDSM mentioned a lot but no real scenes are played out in this story. Look at Trigger warnings for this story before reading.
The story lacked the goodies to make it memorable and the whole story was rushed, I think its a great concept storybut needs more. The first story just fell flat, it was nothing but mushy and then bam its over good bye. And then the next book picks up 10 years later but the characters are like in the same place they were basically at the end of the first one, but now they are older and have this other part that was NEVER mentioned in the first book ever. Like it kind of made me feel like a young adult tv sitcom drama when the char term literally go through so much drama in a single episode that it makes you wonder if there is literally anything else that haven't yet went through.
At the end of this story I was confused, bored, and completely pissed off that the author allowed this to be published so incomplete. This is basically all the filler chapters to a really great love story but the love story part is missing.
