This was a great overall read. The comparisons were varied and interesting and I liked the broad overview of different theoties as to why mythologies are parallelled across the world.
That being said, I did not like the lack of author commentary. And what we did get at the end focused on the three major Western religions without considering Asiatic and alternate belief systems. While I understand the reason for this, I felt a bit alienated by it, and I did not find that section to be as informative or useful.
