I couldn’t give this book a start rating if I tried. This is a book that defies rating. Nick Cave is a writer par exellence, his mastery of lanague, his skill as a lyricist, his ability to manifest imagery is second to none. And yet in this small novel he has bent his ability to the crafting of the most vile story I have yet read. This book is amazing but it is truely awful.
