This was a pretty cute book. I mean, I guess it is not conventionally cute, but I don't know how else to describe it. It starts of kind of like a David Sedaris short-fiction-story which makes sense because Amy Sedaris is one of the 3 authors. The last 4 or 5 chapters were kind of slow to me, but the whole book was quite funny- it has a lot of obvious jokes as well as a lot of subtle word-play type gags. Also: pictures! If you know Amy Sedaris' work, you know she is kind of in to dress-up and she & her Strangers With Candy cohorts dress up as the characters in the book with photography by Todd Oldham (he also did all the photography for the awesome I Like You also by Amy).
