Missing Daughter, Shattered Family by Liz Strange
4.0
I really enjoyed this, more than I thought I would.
The main character was easy to follow and like. He didn't become an idiot for the sake of moving the story along, which happens lots in other books. The dialogue was great and I liked following him along on his investigation and seeing all of the questions he asked in seeking out the truth.
The ending didn't quite work for me. One of the main take-downs happened off page and it didn't feel very satisfying. And there were a lot of typos - missing end quotes, a few misspellings - that were jarring to read.
Will have to look up this author in the future. I really like her writing style.
