Eleanor Oliphant Is Completely Fine by Gail Honeyman
5.0
This book was such an emotional roller-coaster for me.
Funny and touching, the story of Eleanor Oliphant made me laugh and cry at the same time.
Eleanor is such a beautifully written character, a socially awkward woman that's been through so much in her life and yet she tries to fight her demons, the loneliness as well the abuse she suffered from her mother. In spite of the fact that she spends most of her life on her own, without love, friends and family, she is learning how to accept the support and love she receives and to get used to the fact that she deserves all of that.
I read it in one day, this book drained me emotionally but I loved every second of it.
And the ending! I did not see that coming!!!
