Win by Harlan Coben

5.0

I am not always a big reader of books by authors who have written so many books and are so popular that they tend to have their own shelf or wall of shelves at the bookstore. I make a few exceptions and Harlan Coben is one of those.
And I have a crush on this fictional character, Win Lockwood III. Have done since being introduced in my very first Myron Bolitar novel years ago. I was in a book challenge to read the first in series and Deal Breaker: Myron Bolitar #1 came up in books that fit the category and my taste for mysteries. I had a crush on Myron too but Win was the honeybunches. For all that he would be a difficult person to know or be around and he's borderline sociopath or I guess anti-hero.
I really liked this book. I am so glad Win gets his own series. We get to see his life in more detail or as much as he allows.
Plenty of twists and turns and reasons to stay in the parking lot or in the driveway to listen to that much more of my commute book. I was a wee bit late for work on one or two occasions, especially when I thought the book was ending and it wasn't. [I stayed late to make up my hours and my work, never fret]
I am very much looking forward to the next in the series and I hope it's a long-lived one.
I can absolutely recommend this book, series and author.
