It’s not often that I find the second book in a trilogy better than the first, but that is the case for The Kingdom of Copper. While I felt the first book in the series was slow and didn’t have much happening, this book was like a tinderbox waiting to explode. Lots of political intrigue. It’s hard to decide whose side you are on as each Main character POV aligns differently on the issue in the world of Daevabad. Great read. Interested to see how the trilogy ends.
