3.75 ✨ || I really enjoy the podcast “trope” within psychological crime reads like this one.
While there was some character development in Rachel Krall’s character’s debut book, Night Swim, and still developing in this book, there was also relationship development between Rachel and one of the officers, so I imagine that is setting up for the next Rachel Krall book!? I will say I could have gone without that bit however I can understand why the author developed the characters this way :0).
I also learned that snakes eat themselves and a reason for it is high stress.
Overall, I really enjoyed the read and would recommend if you are looking for something a bit more fast-paced.
