A beautiful book about longing and loneliness. I love the colour pallette and I LOVE how she uses red to bring out warmth in the scenes; like the pink in her cheeks or the warmth emitting from a table of friends chatting whilst she is looking on, feeling maybe a bit jealous in her loneliness. The red is so striking throughout and is really poignant in it's meaning. A lovely, gentle story that is thoughtful and sweet in it's limited words.
