1985 by Anthony Burgess

4.0

Brilliant and thought provoking follow up to Orwell's 1984.

The first part of the book is critique and remarks on orwellian future. The second part is Burgess's own take on it where work unions, Islam and television take the centre stage against personal freedom of choice and character. The revolution will be televised.

If you liked 1984 not only because you were told to like it, read this version written in 1978 and tell me how many differences/similarities can you find.
