Iona Iverson's Rules for Commuting by Clare Pooley

3.0

I love The Authenticity Project, but this one didn't quite land the same mark. Evoking Fredrik Backman's love of ensemble casts, Iona Iverson tried and almost successfully completed a well-rounded story of many moving pieces. There were some lovely moments but overall the characters felt underdeveloped and hard to track. I still love Pooley's writing and will read anything she puts out! But of her work so far, I have to give The Authenticity Project the win.
