I Heart Paris by Lindsey Kelk

2.0

I got this book because I've been reading everything set in Paris latrly and the premise sounded interesting. Alas, it fell short of that mark in so many ways.

First, I didn't really get a feel for Paris beyond what 15 seconds of Googling could tell me. There were no hidden gems, no cute spots to check out.

Second, I very much disliked Angela. Maybe I'm more cynical but I saw all of the road blocks in her way from a mile out. There were times when I wanted to reach into the book and shake her, telling her to 'Just talk to Alex!' (guess that makes me Jenny, yeah?). And why did Alex put up with half that stuff?

My life would've been fine having not read this. I wouldn't recommend it.
