I had a hard time getting into this one, the first quarter feeling too close to cheating for my personal enjoyment. But it never crossed that line and by the second quarter of the book, I was hooked and had a great time.
Luke’s family situation was rough, and there’s a decent bit of angst there, but it doesn’t linger too much in the angst, thankfully.
Luke and Keaton put time and effort into their relationship, which I love. It doesn’t come easy and they earn their happy ending.
