I hated corrupt and hideaway was also a disappointment.
I nearly gave up on the horsemen because I just didn't like the characters. I'm so glad I didn't.
Damon is *chefs kiss* just there are no words. I HATED him for 2 whole books for it to take 85 pages to the change my mind.
The pool scene was unexpected perfection as was the catacombs.
It would have been 5 stars but the ending wasn't my thing and I hope it doesn't impact the rest of the series.
