This is a very well-done biography of the famous author Arthur Conan Doyle. While most of the story looks at Arthur’s life as compared to Sherlock Holmes, it also looks at his upbringing and the things in life that kept him grounded. It’s hard to put a life as loud as Conan Doyle into a picture book but this author has done it with aplomb. The illustrations are bright colorful and match both Arthur and the themes in settings of the book quite well.
