This was a lovely book. It reminded me somewhat of a cross between Sorrow and Bliss and Midnight Library. A book that talks about some dark things, some sad things, but not in a way that's meant to shock or trigger you as you read. A life encapsulated in a digestible format, one you come back to until you're done.
I finished this in essentially two sittings - it was intriguing and I wanted to know the undoing of the relationship with Rory. What a hateable character, honestly. And the beauty of Adelaide's self discovery and self love was a much needed ending after so much tragedy.
