The Gods of Guilt by Michael Connelly

5.0

What a fantastic book!!!!

There are books that I finish in one read because they are amazing and i can't put them down. But in this case, I didn't want the book to end. I took my time reading it. It was the last book i had in this series and I really, really love this series. I can say that is my favourite character out of the series written by Michael Connelly.

Connelly once again did an excellent job writing this book. I absolutely love the way he is peppering little details in the book making the reader feeling completely immersed in the situation. I love Mickey Haller, a very smart, experienced, resourceful lawyer, a powerful man who also has vulnerabilities, weak spots, who loves, who lies, who does his best.

In this book a man is wrongly accused of killing a prostitute. I am going to let you guys enjoy the unfolding of the book, as i would never succeed painting an accurate description of it. The ending, although not surprising, it's still shocking and emotional. Very emotional.

Michael Connelly is one of the best authors out there. One of the things that make his absolutely extraordinary is that he is always delivering an excellent book. Always. This one was no exception.

This whole series it's a must read. Highly recommended.
