"I never thought about it before, but I'm proud to be human. We're ever so flawed. We're frail, confused, violent, and we struggle with so many issues. But all in all, I'm proud to be a Daughter of Man" - Penryn Young

Angelfall is by far, the best dystopian book I have ever read. It's unputdownable! (that's not a word but whatever) I can't believe it took me this long to read this.

Penryn Young is all I ask for in a heroine. Next to Rose Hathaway, she's my second favorite fictional bestie. I love how the author made her character. She's not what you can call a badass but she's trying learning to be. All for her love for her family.

Then there's Raffe. The swoon worthy hero. My heart literally breaks for him at the last few pages. I want to hug him so bad because I can't imagine what's going on at his mind when he's holding Penryn at that moment. I applaude Ms. Ee for NOT making Raffe the typical misogynistic-jerk male lead.

The world that Susan Ee created is pure genius! The way she writes really engaged me and she managed to make Penryn's world enthralling and terrifying. Susan Ee is such a brilliant writer! She's done an amazing job voicing out Penryn. I'm really in awe.

All in all, ANGELFALL is definitely a MUST READ. It's heart racing, thrilling and romantic. I don't know how Susan Ee managed to put that all in one book, but she did it. And she did a magnificent job!!
