Superhero by Eli Easton
5.0
'Say yes, Jordan,' he said, shifting closer.
'No,' I said.
Owen smiled. 'Close enough.'
And then he kissed me.
I loved the stuffing out of this novella. It made me laugh and cry and swoon like a teenage girl at a Beatles concert. My only - very slight - criticism is that although I know Owen was a mature, thoughtful character by nature, I did occasionally find his dialogue and actions to be a little too mature for his age in the last third of the story - we can't forget that these boys were just 18. Other than that, Superhero was pure, smuffy perfection.
This one's going directly onto my very selective "favourites" shelf. <3
Thanks for the rec, Amy! You can pick a book for me any time, friend. :)
