Howl for It by Shelly Laurenston

4.0

I don’t often pick up books that are made of up novellas by different authors, but every once in a while I’ll be so into a story or an author that I’ll grab one. While I was reading every single one of Shelly Laurenston’s Pride series (I have not read any of her other series yet) I found that there was a prequel to the stories in the book “Howl For It” and since it involved Dee-Ann’s parents (meaning the infamous Eggie), I decided I had to have it.

Buying the book was worth it just to read that story. This story was a great addition to the funny, sexy, suspenseful series that I love so much.

The second story by Cynthia Eden I wasn’t sure I was even going to bother to read. I mean, I didn’t buy the book for the second story. But, it was bothering me that there was a half-finished book sitting on my Kindle so I thought I might as well try it. I was glad that I did!

Gage is a shifter and after what happened to her family, she knows there’s nothing more dangerous than a shifter. She’ll do whatever she has to do to take out the shifters who are hurting humans in Vegas. Gage knows Kayla isn’t who she says she is, but he wants her anyway.

Which is how a shifter ends up married to a hunter. In the middle of a war.

Can Kayla trust her instincts about Gage? Can Gage find and survive the traitor in his midst? Can a human hunter be an alpha female and a mate? I think you’ll enjoy finding out in this action packed story with sizzle to spare!
