I can see why someone might enjoy this, but it’s flawed for me. I stayed for the hiking, the forced-proximity tropes, and mentally checked out any time Alia was hotheaded, over-compensated or apologized. (Not to mention, it started pissing me off how she acted and then it was almost expected for Drew to apologize each time.) The sharing a tent, attracted-to-you-to-a-fault, and Alia’s drive to show her love to her family we’re wonderful. The constant “jumping down Drew’s throat” or apologizing for everyday things that just so happened to occur that day on a job were tiring after the third time. If I’m happily reading about a 30-plus year, independent, and badass woman; I want her to be confident in her own opinions and stand her ground. Alia began to grow on me but I wished she was just awesome from the start.

And after they made their list of rules to break it for some sexting? I got horrible embarrassment that someone was going to find out, when they agreed beforehand they wanted to keep things private.
