We continue to follow Morana and Tristan. They are now on Tristan's turf and they work to figure out the twisted world of their families while navigating their new relationship.

Honestly, I have the same complaints as the first book. It is incredibly repetitive. WE GET IT! He has beautiful blue eyes and sounds like whiskey and sin. Care to repeat it for the thousandth time? The writing isn't really great. There is a whole lot of telling instead of showing. ALSO... I am not a fan of 3rd POV, so there's that.

The story line could have been really interesting and this book could have been really good with more editing and revising. As it was the twists were pretty obvious.

I think Dante is the most interesting character of the 3. I am tempted to continue the series just to read his book.

I did appreciate the development of Tristan's character and how he communicated in more than just grunts throughout this book. I think the short timeline of his character's progression and emotional awareness was pretty unrealistic.

Morana continued to be very idealistic and naive.

So mobsters not believe in therapy? Could be helpful. Just saying.
