I've read the Iliad by Homer and that was why I wanted to read more about Helen, because clearly the Iliad isn't about romance.
The plot was very confusing in the starting. It was almost about to be a didn't finish for me.
After a while it got better. But the love between Lucas and Helen was so.. Instant.
I mean one minute they're just saving each other and the next they can't live without each other.
Especially in the case of Lucas. He seemed too into it. Calm down! You've not even known her for like a month.
The story was good. All my Greek mythology and Ancient Tragedy plays finally came to some use.
The characters were very similar to one another.
Even Creon, who as a character was supposed to stand out.
There were times when nothing was happening and then times when everyone was doing all things at the same time.
To be honest Claire as a best friend was getting on my nerves.
All in all, it was an okayish read for me. I don't know if I'll pick the next one up,
Considering it's going to be a love triangle.
